I shared cherry blossom at High park during spring in my last travel post. This time I wanted to share how high park is during Fall / Autumn.
High Park is Toronto's largest public park featuring many hiking trails, sports facilities, diverse vegetation, a beautiful lakefront, convenient parking, easy public transit access, a dog park, a zoo, playgrounds for children, a couple of eateries, greenhouses, picnic areas, a bunch of squirrels.
We always visit Algonquin park to view the fall foliage every year, its about 4 hour drive from Toronto. But this time I did not have the mood to travel that long. So I decided to explore something within Toronto. High park is beautiful in spring with cherry blossoms and tulips.... I thought may be I should try and check how it looks in Fall. When I visited there I totally loved it and felt that I missed this near place since many years.
As it was pretty cold I decided to gear up my jeans, booties, scarf and of course the leather jacket. The fedora wool hat was an add on and it helped me to protect my head from the crazy wind. As we were supposed to walk around the park, I decided not to carry big handbag so I chose this sling bag which has enough space to store essential things. W e strolled around the park for about 2 hours and took some beautiful pictures. Sharing some of them with you all.....
