When the season of spring begins here, one thing I keep waiting is to see the Japanese cherry blossom. This year I had been waiting since April as it is usually this time of the year when cherry blossoms actually blooms. Considering how cold this spring is and the fluctuating weather, the blossom time was just pushed ahead.
I usually visit High Park in Toronto to see the cherry blossom as they have a lot of trees planted to one of the areas in the park. But this year I wanted to go to a different place. So I started checking online where else I can see cherry blossom. After few days of research I saw few photos on Instagram where people uploaded cherry blossom pictures at Burlington. There is park in Burlington called "Spencer Smith Park" which is about 45 minutes drive from Toronto.
Spencer Smith Park is a park in downtown Burlington, Ontario located on the shore of Lake Ontario. In spring the cherry blossoms are in bloom at The Waterfront at Downtown Burlington donated by our twin city Itabashi, Japan. I decided I should visit this place as the cherry blossom were in bloom that week. Though it is not a full bloom due to cold, as per pictures I could see there were enough to visit and enjoy the view.
Because I love cherry blossom so much, I have been trying to match my outfit with the theme and also did my nails with cherry blossom theme. Hope you will like the place, the blossom and my outfit.
