Hi My Angels,

How are you all doing?

As you all know now that I love nail art and doing my own manicure, so I ensure my nails are healthy as I change the nail polish every week. As they say “
having well groomed nails is the foundation of nail art”.

Today I will share how I prep my nails before starting the nail art and polish them. I follow these steps to prep my nails...
Picture
-  I use non acetone nail polish remover. If you are using acetone nail polish remover that will slowly spoil your nails. I use the non-acetone polish remover to remove the old polish.
-  I wash my hands thoroughly after this process to remove the remains of the remover and if there is color on the skin ( happens if you had darker polish)
-  Next step is to trip the edges of nails if required, file and then shape my nails. I ensure to file in one direction to avoid splitting or cracking of nails.
-  To nourish nails and cuticle, I use Sally Hansen cuticle oil. Apply this to your cuticles and gently massage with your hand. This oil will help your cuticles to stay strong and protects from peel off.
-  I then wipe this oil with cotton and then rinse my hands.
-  Next step is to apply good base coat. I use Revlon Quick dry base coat. This dries fast and also helps your nails to stay strong.
-  Apply nail polish and start with my nail art.
-  Last but not the least, a good top coat to add some shine and seal the design. I use Avon UV gloss guard. It dries fast and gives a good shine.

Hope these tips help to take care of your nails and prep for nail art. Do comment and share your nail care tips.
