As women from multiple and disparate demographics, we have much to offer one another. We are stronger together! This fall’s campaign unites the Millennial and Midlife Demographics to blur artificial boundaries while encouraging Reciprocal Mentorship. What exactly is Reciprocal Mentorship? It’s a new and empowered way of bringing the generations together by each sharing their unique gifts with the other.
Debbie started blogging in 2013 because she loves fashion and playing with different styles. She also loves to write and have a lot to say so a blog for her was the perfect forum. She is a middle school (grades 6-8) Life Skills teacher. She has been teaching for 27 years and she loves it more. She knew from the time that she was 5 years old that she wanted to be a special education teacher so she is living her dream. Isn't she so amazing?
Like me, she also believes that there are no rules in fashion; if you love it, wear it! There is no such thing as "age appropriate" instead dress in what is "me appropriate". If you feel beautiful in what you are wearing that is the only thing that matters.
Coming to her style, her style is eclectic and depends on how she is feeling on any given day, But more often than not, her look is definitely more boho than anything else. Casual and comfortable are her two favorite things. The piece from her closet that she wears the most is her favorite pair of ripped boyfriend jeans.
She is married to her fabulous husband for 28 years. They have a 27 year old son and a 13 year old daughter. She has four dogs who she considers as their hairy toddlers...Haha! She is a total homebody person and prefers being at home. She loves to read She is obsessed with apocalypse related movies..I love them too. We both have zero tolerance for rudeness, bad manners and mean people. We share similar thinking when it comes to rudeness and not being kind.
When we connected for this campaign, and I started to getting to know her and her style.... I was so impressed by her style. Her hair is too beautiful and so is her style.
I am so thankful to the Bridging the gap campaign and making us #StrongerTogether.
